Caipirinha

 

Equipment:

  • A bar spoon
  • Old fashioned glass
  • Muddler 

Ingredients:

  • 2 shots of cachaça
  • 4 wedges of lime
  • 3 tea spoons of sugar
  • 2 ice cubes (preferably crushed ice)

Method:

1. Put the lime wedges and sugar and muddle 

2. Add the cachaça and ice

3. Stir well

 

Strawberry Daiquiri

 

Equipment:

 

  • Shaker
  • Daiquiri/pina colada glass, martini or margarita glass
  • Muddler

Ingredients:

  • 2 shots of white rum
  • 3 pieces of strawberry
  • 1 shot of simple sugar syrup
  • 1 shot of lime juice
  • strawberry piece for garnish
  • Cubed ice

Method:

1. Put the strawberry pieces in the shaker and muddle

2. Add the other ingredients and ice and shake

3. Strain over a glass

4. Garnish with a strawberry

 

Old Cuban

Equipment:

  • Shaker
  • Martini glass

Ingredients:

  • 2 shots of dark rum
  • 1 shot of simple sugar syrup
  • 1 shot of lime juice
  • 2 dashes of angostura aromatic bitters
  • 1 shot of champagne (prosseco)
  • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Cubed ice

Method:

1. Put the ingredients, apart from the champagne and mint, into a shaker and shake

2. Pour into a glass and add the champagne

3. Garnish with mint leaves on the top
